2099 We all turn in our car keys, life begins.
Our story, is a story of new growth nestled within wisdom of the ancient ones.
We are the running rivers of resilience, woven from confluence of love and sacrifice of those who walked before us.
Born from hearth of living Earth, inherently we embody love, respect, and wisdom for earth and all living.
Values of honesty, integrity, truth live within us. Echoing, howling, whispering voices chant songs from our past into our present, weaving our future generations. We are her story and his story breathing alive a new story.
Seven generations past, our elders chose righteousness in responsibility as stewards for our aboriginal homelands, earth mother.
Injustice, poverty, and violence was a paradigm our elders suffered deeply. Through love and sacrifice, people who came before laid down illusions of false security, comfortable living in ways that do not sustain. Habitual ways that brought destruction to earth and all inhabitants, were sacrificed. Bringing about darkened skies speaking for ears to listen of life changing ways. For us, the following generations walking within ancient footsteps under the same sun.
Love is why we are here today.
Thriving in an ancient city, Zameen Kavita; Earths Poetry. Our highways are woven waters we traverse for trade. Traveling along the rivers way, we are reminded of our bloodline for living; clean air, food, seed, land and water. Zameen Kavita, a city built upon a living honor of weaving Earth, she is seed, food, land, and water sovereign. Listening, we receive guidance as how to and where to assemble our homes and spaces between. Crafted from Earth elementals of clay, grass, straw, wood, stones, and recycled materials. Our creations reflect weaving shelter together as a divine symphony of living art. Creative resilience our commonality in which we unite, dissolving past concepts of separation. Living through law of natural reciprocity, we give back in ways we can, honoring for what we receive. Perpetuating cycles of support for all living. Injustice resolves naturally as we know ourselves not to be separate from one another, from her, mother earth. Our concept of time is slow in that we are aware of our choices of impact within natural cycles of all living. Wind has caught our ears, of stories from the past where people claimed food, seed, and land as one’s own, as a commodity, as a resource for power, for money. An illness of Exploitation brought about great changes in natural ways, our earth mother, she began quaking in rage, shaking the humans awake. Ways of an extractive culture consumed the land, demolition initiated drought. Empires built upon elements harmfully extracted from Earth, came crumbling down. As truth revealed deeper within the hearts of human beings, illusions of false security dissolved into sweet grass we weave today prayerfully. Hunger pangs struck as lightning in the stomachs of too many, our elders suffered cruelty, violence, and poverty. Disrespect. Dishonor. Disconnect. Afflicted many.
Our elders chose a new story, chose us as living prophecy. Car keys to machines of fast paced living, were made into hanging adornments to remember the key to our Happiness, Earth thriving in harmony. Heart is our guiding light of ways in which we live life. Through our inherent understandings of suffering, we communicate, clearing pathways in which we navigate to create alive a place of peaceful living. Giving of breath is our living law to which we are bound by our relationship to all that is. Held accountable by integrity of our paths way. Fireplace, our living prayer, central source of warmth within the soul of Zameen Kavita. Warming the bodies, bones, homes, and waters for all. Chanting songs, honoring our source of sun embodied. Heating our homes and water from one central hearth, giving back, we return waters though grey water systems. Feeding our food and medicinal herb gardens. Honoring the cycles of the sun and moon, we rotate our crops, gather, harvest, hunt, tend to wildfire; replenishing soil fertility for all living. Saving of our seeds and planting in all seasons possible that our seeds sowing weaves perpetuation of resilience for us and all peoples to come. Footprints of red earth blanket pathways to homes, and spaces; scents of sage, sweet grass, and wild rice cooking carry us to where we need to go within remembrance. Natural lighting of day, fire, and oil lamps brighten our eyes sight in darkness of night. Through our use of fire and fat oil lamps, we remain aware of our delicate relationship to our environments, finned animals, four legged, and winged kin. Agreements are made with them as to what animals and elementals can be gathered and hunted, that we honor them and utilize all their parts; bone, flesh, and wood to feed, clothe, and sustain our needs as human beings.
Awareness creates for a natural law of all peoples, animals, inhabitants to thrive in honor of giving and receiving. Within respect, greed is no longer, animal populations grow stronger. Freedom of spaces to roam in honor of life as sacred journey, love, and sacrifice. Colors of all hues bloom within wildflowers, growing in nooks, fed by running brooks of pure water. Harvesting the earths rain in containers of bark and clay, we save in reverence for soils and souls whom seek thirst in quench. Navigating inner landscapes, we tend earth lovingly, creating channels and pathways. Free of maps, compass, strategies to attain, knowing our hearts light guides our paths way in relating. Zameen Kavita, city of dancing earth. The earth, she lights up when our footprints grace her steady in love, honor, and harmony. 2099, city of Zameen kavita, lives alive a story of weaving earth in reciprocal poetry for all living. Now and for the next seven generations under the sun. Zameen Kavita, serenity.
